Cardi B ranks up there with Rihanna as having the most deadly clap-backs in pop culture.
Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar, 25, is about to become a mom for the first time, but it has done little to tame her tongue or her explosive personality. The Bronx-born beauty body-slammed a fan who tried to throw shade about her ballyhooed baby shower. And Cardi stormed after the fan with no filter.
The interaction occurred after Cadi posted photos from her baby shower onto Instagram with the following caption:
“iamcardibBARDI Shower🎀Thank you everybody for coming .I really appreciated with all my heart and will never forget ya !!❤I haven’t been able to open gifts today cause i haven’t been feeling too good ,tomorrow i will see !!Even this the best gift of all was your presence 💋👣🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸.”
And that’s where the fan stepped in and rankled Cardi’s nerve:
“All that money and the baby shower look like a bucket of CORN,” one Instagram follower spat onto her page.
“It was beautiful, and we was happy. Your mom waited a whole nine months for you to be ugly and a bucket of disappointment,”Cardi slammed back.
People should know by now that badmouthing Cardi is not a good idea. Not to mention, it looks like the pregnancy has made Cardi even fiercer.
Don’t mess with a mom-to-be and her baby shower.
Fans were told the celebration was A Bronx Fairytale themed party and it was “lit,” as she previously told Rolling Stone magazine she wanted it to be.
It was also momentous because the gala took place days after Cardi and husband Offset, 28, of Migos rap group had announced that they’ve been secretly married since September of 2017.
As they posed for pics and hugged the baby bump together, fans are wishing the future parents’ road is brighter and less drama-filled than earlier in the year.
