TV One debuts ‘Down For Whatever,’ starring LeToya Luckett and Hosea Chanchez

Excitement abounded as TV One debuted its original screenplay “Down For Whatever,” starring LeToya Luckett, Hosea Chanchez, Imani Hakim and Bre-Z on Sunday, July 22,  The drama was written by Timothy Folsome, who won The American Black Film Festival (ABFF) TV One Third Annual Screenplay Competition in 2017. The movie was screened this year during the 2018 American Black Film Festival in Miami, FL and received rave reviews.

The made-for-TV movie surrounds the successful life of a young female doctor who works at a prestigious hospital and learns that her newly-found biological sisters are actually ruthless cop killers that her detective husband is hunting down.
