The new 2019 BMW X4 has taken luxury to the next level, and we’ve got stats to prove it.

BMW is far from new when it comes to providing consumers with the ultimate driving experience. The German automaker has had much success with combining everyone’s dream of luxury and sport-utility. This time, they’ve added a new ingredient and potentially a new class.

The BMW X4 is a part of the new generation of SUV’s labeled as Sports Activity Coupes (SAC). This new class has recently grown in popularity due to its height and utility mixed with its coupe-like design.

Automotive competitors such as Mercedes and Infiniti have also taken strides in creating similarly styled vehicles, but BMW is leading the charge.

The X4 checks all the boxes when it comes to performance, practicality and style. Ironically, they’ve accomplished this by thinking outside of the box. Here are our top five reasons to purchase this game-changing vehicle.

1. Luxury.

Classy is an understatement when describing the X4. BMW has kept its tradition of providing drivers with the sense of comfort and superior style. The X4 comes standard with front-heated seats, navigation, Apple Car Play, wireless charging and Harmon Kardon surround sound system. One of the latest updates to this tech-savvy vehicle is gesture control. This feature allows drivers to adjust the volume and other features by using hand motions within the front of the cabin.

2. Sportiness.

The X4 takes the cake when it comes to performance. Everything from the newly designed taillights to the sportier wheels screams that this vehicle means business. BMW’s cleverly designed engine also allows the 2018 X4 to push 248 hp in the new xDrive model and up to 355 hp in the M40i trim level.

3. Fuel Efficiency.

This sports activity vehicle averages 20 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway. Not bad for a coupe that weighs over 4,000 pounds. The X4 also comes standardly equipped with multiple drive modes including eco, sport and comfort to optimize each driving experience. If you’re looking to be even more fuel efficient, BMW’s automatic start-stop feature is available on this model as well.

4. Cargo and Space.

Despite its coupe-like design in the rear doors and roof, the X4 has a familiar amount of space to the X3 with the ability to seat up to five.

5. Creativity.

BMW initially released X6 to transcend full-sized sport-utility as we know it. Releasing the compact and lightweight X4 has allowed BMW to further compete in the crossover arena. Although the X4 is built on the popular X3’s framework, it’s a fresh new way of viewing today’s SUVs. The sharp body lines and aerodynamics of this vehicle make all the difference.

With crossover SUVs ruling the automotive market right now, BMW’s gamble to place a heavy focus on their sports utility has proven to be a win. The X4 is the perfect vehicle for young professionals who are either single or looking to start a family. For the starting price of $50,450, buyers will no longer have to choose between the cool car and kid wagon. Thanks for answering our prayers BMW.
