NBA Youngboy shockingly confessed on a new song, “Can’t Be Saved,” that he has “herpes in his blood.” And, according to his former girlfriend, he really does have the STD.
“Herpes in my blood and that s*** got me cryin’ / I really got feelings, you see without science,” NBA Youngboy, who now goes by the name Youngboy Never Broke Again, raps on the track.
This sizzling track twisted his fans’ brains because they didn’t know whether the 18-year-old rapper, born Kentrell DeSean Gaulden in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, actually had the STD or if he meant it figuratively.
According to his ex-girlfriend Jania, the rapper was being literal. And the reason the ex-girl knows NBA Youngboy has the sexually transmitted disease is because she says she has it as well.
Jania has taken to Instagram to address the gossip and clear up any confusion about the rumor. Jania indeed confirmed that NBA Youngboy has the disease that has no cure. She said Youngboy’s willingness to disclose his status so unabashedly in his music let’s folks know he doesn’t care what people think about him.
The ex-girlfriend said Youngboy also came out with the confessional in the song so that none of his enemies or detractors can use the fact he has herpes against him.
