First, Kenya Moore tried denying she was being yanked off of the most popular Bravo TV show, “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” The volatile vixen also dismissed reports of her unceremonious ouster by denouncing those outlets that accurately reported her firing as “fake news,” ala Donald Trump.
Now that Moore, 47, is on the outside of RHOA (and missing those handsome RHOA checks), she is reportedly banging on the glass to be allowed back in, the media reports, and she is pulling out the stops to make it happen.
This past week, for example, the Detroit-born beauty queen and Miss USA pageant winner was seen on the red carpet of the “Growing Up Hip Hop” season 3 premiere with current RHOA cast members Porsha Williams and Cynthia Bailey. This was, as RadarOnline reports, a blatant effort to show that she remains close to her ex-costars.
Secondly, Moore had bet that her pregnancy would generate sufficient interest from other networks to land a show featuring her and husband Marc Daly. The problem with that plan is that, according to the contract she signed with Bravo, Moore is strictly forbidden from being on another show for a period of one year.
If there is another network who has interest in Moore’s storyline, she would not be able to be seen on TV until 2019, which kills the pregnancy/newborn angle since she is due to give birth this year. And you know that Bravo will not give her special permission to film for a competing network.
Running out of options, but still trying to capitalize of her fleeting fame, Moore is taking matters into her own hands.
“Kenya hired a camera crew to follow her around to film a sizzle reel,” the insider told RadarOnline, adding that Moore has become visibly “desperate” to return to television.
Kenya Moore told fans on her Instagram page that she will rise like a phoenix and make a triumphant return to TV. Thus far, however, there have not been any concrete announcement.
As most RHOA fans recall and rolling out reported, Moore enraged Bravo execs when she got secretly married to Daly on a luxury Caribbean beach in the summer of 2017 without informing her employer. The network fined her $200K for violating her contract to let them film her entire life. The couple also rebuffed repeated pleas by Bravo to capture the married couple on camera because Daly is very reticent.
