Jack Daniel’s Art, Beats and Lyrics tour stopped in Chicago this past Friday. The tour is an urban art and music exhibition that supports up and coming artists, from painters to musicians. The night is filled with bright colors and expressive pieces and topped with a musical performance by well known musicians from across the country.

Dwayne “Dubelyoo” Wright has been the curator of Jack Daniel’s Art, Beats and Lyrics for the past three years. The Atlanta based artist has been a fixture in the art community for over a decade and lends his expertise when creating memorable events. We spoke briefly with Dubelyoo about his own installation that was centered around records and turntables.

Morgan MFG in the West Loop neighborhood of Chicago was transformed into all things cool. T-shirts were being made, libations were poured and DJ’s set the mood for an awesome night. Art Beats and Lyrics continues to deliver for the culture thanks to Jack Daniel’s.
