The year 2018 has been a forgettable one for Nicki Minaj and she is not going to allow anyone to interrupt one of the few positives things popping off in her life. Minaj is apparently falling hard for her new boo, and she let fans know there is nothing they can say or do to drive a wedge between them.

The Queen Barbz, 36, made it unequivocally clear that she has her man’s back as she withstood an avalanche of criticism about Kenny Petty and his heavy criminal baggage. Petty served two long prison stints for convictions on sexual assault and manslaughter.

Minaj has had enough since The Blast uncovered the fact that Petty is a registered sex offender. Petty admitted guilt to the attempted rape of a 16-year-old girl back in 1995.

The “Moment 4 Life” lyricist climbed into the comments of someone who supports her as she went off to celebrate her birthday with Petty on a glamorous vacation.

“He was 15, she was 16 … in a relationship,” she said on her IG page. “But go awf, internet, y’all can’t run my life. y’all can’t even run y’all own life.”

The Cash Money artist officially concludes the matter in her mind by offering this final thought: “thank you boo.”

Minaj did not bother addressing the fact that Petty was also convicted of manslaughter for the 2002 shooting death of a man that cost Petty seven years behind bars, The Blast also uncovered in their investigation of Petty’s past.

The star also just posted a photo of herself with Petty and captioned the pic, “Let’s give’m smthn to talk about *Shania voice*.”

The Blast also pointed out, by the way, that Minaj quoted the wrong legendary country music singer. The lyrics Minaj quoted were actually sung by Bonnie Raitt rather than Shania Twain, the publication stated.
