  1. Malika Andrews

In the span of a year-and-a-half, this young journalist took a fellow gig with The New York Times all the way to becoming one of ESPN’s NBA beat reporters this season, focusing primarily on the league’s Central division.

Similar to 24-year-old NBA breaking news reporter Shams Charania, Andrews has received the endorsement of the ultimate sources guru himself, Adrian Wojnarowski, for her work. Recently, she penned the news of Chicago Bulls forward Jabari Parker being pulled from the team’s rotation months after signing a two-year, $40 million deal.
