As the rumors of Kevin Hunter’s side chick and new baby raged around Wendy Williams like a dust storm for the past several months, the talk show host opted to let the innuendos blow past her flowing locks.
But during Williams’ recent appearance on SiriusXM’s “Sway in the Morning,” she finally confirmed that Hunter indeed started a new family while still married to her.
Wendy, as she is most often called, said she wishes Hunter nothing but the best “with his new family” in her first public statement regarding her estranged husband’s love child with his 33-year-old mistress Sharina Hudson.
“I want a divorce like yesterday. I want a divorce two months ago, three months ago, whenever I found out … four months ago,” she said. “I want a divorce, and I want to be friends with Kevin. I mean, and not because we have a son but because that was real love. I still love him, just not in that way.
“You [are] either in or you are out with me,” she continued. “I still have love for him and I wish him the best in his new life with his new family.”
Wendy and Hunter are parents to Kevin Hunter Jr. but are in the throes of a months-long divorce proceeding.
Multiple outlets have reported for years that Hunter was living part-time with his side chick and that he impregnated her late last year. Hudson reportedly gave birth to her and Hunter’s love child in March. Wendy filed for divorce soon thereafter in April.
