Day Two of the 2019 Bronner Brothers International Beauty Show was all about imagination, artistry and over-the-top creativity during the Fantasy Competition. This year’s competition, which was held Sunday, Aug. 18, 2019, at the Georgia World Congress Center in downtown Atlanta, gave contestants a platform where they could make their imaginations come to life through their use of hair.
After they were evaluated by the judges, each contestant was invited to come onstage and stand next to their models. Hair professionals, who traveled from across the country to Atlanta to test their skills in the Fantasy Competition, had the opportunity to tell the audience what inspired them to create their particular hairstyle.
This year, hairstylist Kevin Carter from The Artistry of Hair in Farmington Hills, Michigan, took home first and second place at The Fantasy Competition.
