Singer Chilli is being grated like an onion on Black Twitter after a fan who bears a resemblance to the “Scrubs” singer brought it to her attention, only to be dissed by the TLC band member.

Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas, 48, is a member of one of the best-selling girl groups of all time as TLC gave us multiple classics like “Waterfalls,” “Aint 2 Proud 2 Beg,” “Baby,” “Red Light Special,” and many others in the 1990s.

But Chilli ran afoul of Black Twitter ethics when she brazenly shot down the fan in this Twitter response for rudely saying that the fan looks nothing like her.

The fan came back and tried to diffuse the situation by saying she didn’t say she looked like Chilli, but that folks in the streets kept bringing up Chilli as a celebrity that she reminds them of.

Fans executed mob justice on Chilli for having the audacity to shoot down the fan with such disdain, and deemed her behavior as mean-spirited and unnecessary.

“Never in my young life as a TLC fan did I think that Chilli would be so f—– whack, but every time she has the opportunity to show her true personality it’s a–. Her (lol) dating show, Girls Cruise, twitter. God ‘hearing’ celebs speak is so disappointing.”

Check out a sampling of the other disapproving responses, though some Twitter users said that Chilli was not wrong for what she said, even if they disagreed with how she framed the responses.
