Twitter followers immediately illuminated the irony of Simpson declaring that another athlete is not popular anymore. They came at him with a flurry of memes and mocking responses.
“Kinda like you smelling like a rose after beating a double murder,” said one Twitter user, while another added. “AB is killing it, amirite?”
One person summed up the sentiments succinctly by telling Simpsion that he provided a “Killer analysis.”
