Kevin Hart could be sued by other passengers in his classic car crash

According to TMZ, the classic Plymouth did not have the customary safety devices that are normally standard with most modern cars as Hart opted to keep the car authentically 1970. Therefore, Hart could be held liable.

However, the driver could also be subjected to legal action depending on the outcome of the investigation from the California Highway Patrol. The CHP will determine whether speed or negligence played a part in causing the crash. The car, which is now totaled, was equipped with 720 horsepower.

Furthermore, the company that customized the car could face a lawsuit as well, since it could have turned down Hart’s request to have the car equipped with 1970s style safety features, TMZ reports.

In other words, lawsuits could be flying around all over the place as a result of this one accident.
