How dangerous is it for us to allow fear to overtake our thoughts.
Fear is like a disease. If you don’t stop it at Stage 1 (once it enters your mind), then it starts to spread. That’s when those insecurities sneak up. You start talking yourself out of your self-worth. You start seeking validation from unqualified people. You start comparing yourself to others. These behaviors allow you to become stuck with no movement, no growth, no learning, and no improvements.
The next thing you know, you will find yourself years later in the same position because you let fear keep you from applying to that job, going back to school, getting out [of] that unhealthy relationship, starting a business, hiring a personal trainer, etc.
Most successful people have failed…more than once. Failure is just evidence that you are trying and it helps to show you what doesn’t work. Taking risks to yourself is not always a bad thing. The biggest reward is when you do something fearful. Push past it and your goal is on the other side.
