Congressman Hank Johnson discusses Black community, COVID-19 and 2020 Census

What is the importance of voting and completing the 2020 Census?

People need to get out and vote and enter into the Census because it determines how many representatives we will be given by how many people are in a particular area.

[This includes] the people who speak for us, the people who are us, people in Congress, people in the Statehouse, people in state Senate, the local county commissioners, people on the city councils and all of these governmental subdivisions. The more people that you have the more representation that you have. The more people that you have at the table making the decisions, the better chance you have.
