Actor Stephen Bishop thankful for 2 meaty TV roles amid Hollywood shutdown

In “A Dangerous Affair” and “Coins for Love,” we see couples dealing with outside “entanglements” that threaten their relationships. Do you have any advice for couples on how to deal with exes with whom they may have an extensive history?

Avoid them at all costs. Nothing good can come of entertaining an ex. No friend requests, no emails, phone calls or anything. And when I say that, I mean you shouldn’t be checking their social media either. Just because you aren’t accepting their friend requests doesn’t mean you aren’t stalking their page. Stop that.

You have been able to play a leading man in roles as the good guy and the bad guy. Do you have a preference concerning the type of character you play?

I’m thankful for good writing most of all, but I’ll admit there are more layers and more to sink your teeth into when playing the villain.
