Actor T.C. Carson releases jazz single ‘Come Together’ to encourage unity

You played a therapist in the movie Bricked, which aired on BETHer and you’ve mentioned going to therapy yourself. What suggestions do you have for keeping this conversation on mental health going?

I started seeing a therapist two years ago after my father died and I didn’t realize how much that was affecting me. But I think it’s really important for us to talk about it. Our community doesn’t always talk about it. We say, “Go pray about it.” You can pray about it, but God gives you discernment and clarity. You need that extra help.
