Hairstylist Najah Aziz describes creating the popular ‘Kelly’ cut

How are you thriving as a stylist and salon owner during this pandemic?

Our numbers went crazy by keeping our clients engaged and by continuing to post regarding life during quarantine. We came up with quarantine hair kits that included shampoo, conditioner, foam, hair comb and all the essentials that you would need to take care of your hair at home. We sold over 400 kits during the pandemic as it was important to stay engaged with my clients using social media like Happy Hour with Najah at home, cooking hour, and giveaways just to have fun.

I also want to announce for the first time that we’re doing a giveback to 40 teachers by providing complimentary services two days in August to help during this trying time. My salon was built on service and this is a perfect time to give back to help our educators, as we want them [to] feel good and look good.
