What impact do you hope your organization has?
Our mission is illumination and collectivism. We want to shine a light on the issues that affect women of color all over the world. Through collectivism we know we are stronger together when we choose one another. We’re not waiting for anybody else to solve the issues of Black women. We can solve them together. The International Slumber Party was the event. That was phase one. Phase two is putting together sustainable programs to continue uplifting them and building them by providing mentorship sponsorship by allyship. We have another conference coming up on October 24 called SHE Brilliance and that is for all women to come together and discuss how can we support one another and lift one another.
