Wendy Williams has unleashed a whirlwind on her ex-husband’s mistress whom she characterized as a “backwoods Barbie.”
The daytime talk show queen recently revealed what has been marinating in her soul for the past several years — if not longer — as she indicated she always knew a lot more than she previously let on about her wayward husband.
Williams, 56, and actress Ciera Payton, who played her in her lifetime biopic Wendy Williams: The Movie, appeared on “Access Daily” to talk about her movie and documentary and was brutally candid about her former spouse.
“It’s been 20 years in the making,” Williams said. “You know when I found out that he was cheating on me while I was pregnant with Kevin the entire nine months. Kevin was cheating on me and that wasn’t the first time. This little backwoods Barbie thinks she’s the first. She’s one in a long string. You know they’ve been together allegedly since she was very young. I mean she’s 33 now, he’s going to be 49 this year and he’s dealing with a three-year-old and a new family.”
What was remarkable is that Williams said she “plotted” her exit strategy from her marriage even as she was giving birth to her only child Kevin Jr., who is now in college. Later in the marriage, Williams even paid for the private investigators’ tickets so they could fly to wherever Hunter and his mistress went in order to compile a dossier on their activities.
“What I was doing was plotting on him,” said Wendy. “You know my anger is from within and what I was doing is calling the best divorce attorney in town calling the best estate planner which happens to have been the one that we already had, calling the car dealerships for the cars, calling my private investigators. You know I don’t have time to be riding around in cars laying low in the seat. That scene plays out in the movie eventually.”
