Tisha Campbell and Essence Atkins will star in the upcoming ABC comedy pilot “Black Don’t Crack.” The series will also star Tahj Mowry, Beth Grant, Sherri Shepard and Isaiah Mustafa.

The project is written and executive produced by Regina Hicks while Viola Davis is one of the executive producers on the project as well.

According to Deadline,  “’Black Don’t Crack’ centers around three former sorority sisters, played by Shepard, Atkins and Campbell, who lost touch after college and reunite during a pivotal point in their lives. They realize sometimes it’s okay to crack and when you do, no one will be there for you like your friends.”

“Black Don’t Crack” will reunite Mowry and Atkins as well. The two previously played brother and sister on the 90’s comedy series “Smart Guy.”
