“Receiving this [donation] is beyond our imagination,” added Tammy McNeil, interim department chair of business and economics and assistant professor in the statement. “This donation will surely help us continue our quest to support and encourage students who want to be an entrepreneur, whether their interests are in social entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship, or corporate innovation. I am thrilled to see the wheels turning in students’ entrepreneurial minds.”
Megan Thee Stallion and Fashion Nova also partnered with activist Mary Lee this week and helped donate $50K to the Asian Americans Advancing Justice-Atlanta in honor of the victims of the Atlanta spa shootings. The organization is the only nonprofit legal advocacy firm dedicated to protecting the civil rights of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders in the southeast.
The Women On Top initiative gave $100K to the Breonna Taylor Foundation in March as well.
