The Cash Money/ Ruff Ryders Tour actually did have opening acts, contrary to Wayne’s statement, according to 50 Cent. Not shy about his grinding years, the G-Unit boss has told the story several times about coming from behind a black curtain and performing for the crowd as the lights were still on and people were just making their way into the venue. 50 also paid his respects to DMX over the weekend and sent his condolences to the Ruff Ryder crew.
“@therealswizzz @jadakiss and all the other people close to DMX i send my sincerest condolences. I don’t deal with losing people well, over the years i lost so many people i don’t process things the right way. so i wait till i feel something to say something R.I.P to DMX, I’ll say what i feel when i’m around people i know loved him. God bless him !,” the “Power” executive producer added on Instagram.
