So you mentioned T.I., is that the main artist that you’ve worked with or are there others?
As far as like a tour DJ, a personal DJ, T.I. is the only one. … I’ve also been associated with Iggy, bringing her to TIP and Travis Scott.
What are your top songs or artists that are on your playlist right now?
Right now, we got Lil Baby and Thug. Durk, he’s finally getting his shine. Those are the top right now just being really consistent [and] of course, Meek and Drake.
What technology do you use to organize yourself and what are some of your favorite apps?
I use Serato, but also, I use iTunes. I create folders in iTunes because iTunes syncs with Serato and it will push photos up to the side. Serato is pretty much the universal software. All clubs’ equipment [have] the Serato software on there so it’s just as easy as plug and play.
What advice would you give to an up-and-coming DJ?
The best advice that my dad gave me was knowing what kind of DJ that you want to be, knowing that there’s levels to this. That’s really important because I knew for a fact, I wanted to be a significant club DJ. It’s just common sense, if your face card is good, that’s gonna speak for itself [and] if you’re in Atlanta, you can never over brand yourself … it’s a tourist town.
