How do you create a memorable marketing campaign in the days of social media?
Timing is always important and your content relevancy is important as well. Everybody is sending messages out now. You want to be aware of what other people are doing, but you want to make sure that your content is relevant, it’s clear and your creative assets (photo’s, video’s, etc.) are done very well. It’s a battle every day. Large companies are competing with small companies. People are visual and most people are not going to read a long message or post. But if it’s a relevant picture and it catches your eye, they’re going to look at that first. They’re going to be visual first, and then they’re going to read.
What would you consider to be your superpower?
I would say taking nothing and turning it into something. I think I got that from my grandmothers. They always took nothing and turned it into something. Whether it was some material, and the next thing you know, they turned into drapes or pillows. Or whether it’s one meal, and now it’s eight meals. So, I would say, being able to take what you have, and use it to get to where you need to go.
