Rap star Fetty Wap’s daughter, Lauren Maxwell, has died at the age of 4.
The Lauren’s mother, Turquoise Miami, confirmed the devastating news on Instagram.
“This is my amazing, beautiful, funny, vibrant, loving, talented, smart and hardheaded princess mermaid Aquarius,” Lauren’s mom, Turquoise Miami, wrote.
The photogenic daughter was one of six children of Fetty Wap, who was born Willie Junior Maxwell II in Paterson, New Jersey. The “Trap Queen” rapper is also father to five other children; Aydin, Zaviera, Khari, Amani, and Zy.
According to “Entertainment Tonight,” Fetty, 30, dedicated his concert set to his daughter during the recent Rolling Loud Festival near Miami.
No cause for Lauren’s death has been revealed despite media inquiries.
“LoLo daddy did that s— for you last night baby girl,” Fetty penned the day after his performance in a since-expired Instagram Story for his seven million followers.
These are particularly somber times because Fetty’s family is still recovering from the shooting death of his 26-year-old brother, Twyshon Depew, in October 2020 in Paterson, New Jersey, which is 15 miles north of Newark.
