How has your brand evolved?
I have allowed it to evolve as I set up one business, and then I see people come and they participate or they patronize the business. Then, I see the needs of a consumer or the needs of a user, and then my brand begins to evolve based on who they are, and what they’re showing me and how we’re sharing.
What are key elements that every brand must have?
You need a proper business structure, a business plan. You need resources. When you set out a business, people think you just need a logo and an LLC. You need to do all your homework. Do all your research. Who is your ideal customer? Who are you going to market to? How are you going to market to them, because all this takes money.
What separates your brand from others in the industry?
You are the secret sauce. I’m the one that separates my business from someone else’s business. I’m the main ingredient because I have a very unique perspective. I struggled with people asking me “well, what sets your business apart from others? Why is yours different from this one?” It’s like listen, we can all have a unique business. I don’t try too hard to be super unique and set myself apart because I realized that I came in this not necessarily offering something new, but offering something uniquely me.
