Boosie Badazz was arrested after he was allegedly involved in a brawl and destruction of property while performing at State Farm Arena in Atlanta over the weekend.
Boosie, 38, was taken into custody on Monday, Oct. 11, 2021, after a police investigation of the fracas that popped off just moments after the rapper took the stage during the Legendz of the Streetz Tour. He was performing on the bill with the likes of Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Fabolous, Gucci Mane, Lil Kim, Trina and others.
Police have accused Boosie and his crew of rushing the stage on Friday night, Oct. 8, 2021, and allegedly damaging items belonging to a production company while also destroying equipment and property owned by State Farm Arena.
The Baton Rouge, Louisiana, rapper was charged with second-degree criminal damage to property, inciting a riot, disorderly conduct and criminal trespass. A Fulton County Jail spokesperson confirmed to TMZ that the rapper born Torrance Hatch Jr. was booked there and has since been released.
While he awaits his next court date, the fallout from the episode continues. Boosie has since been kicked off the tour by State Farm. The arena has posted a note on the door telling folks to contact them for refunds after the concert was shut down.
In typical Boosie fashion, he ripped into the decision during his rant for his one million Twitter followers.
“THIS IS THE MOVE THEY PULLING OFF ON THE TOUR SO U CANT GET REFUNDS. READ IT CLEAR LOL LIKE PEOPLE GO READ A SIDE DOOR LOL, S—. OUT TO ALL MY BALTIMORE FANS LOVE YALL.”
Boosie is also conducting his own investigation. He is offering money for the identity of the security personnel who allegedly pulled a gun on Boosie and his people.
