Sallie Huggins demonstrates the power of love by caring for others

What key skills or qualities make you unique as an African American female leader?
I am detail-oriented and once a task has begun, I do not stop until it is done. [Whether] great or small, I give my best or none at all.

What thoughtful or encouraging piece of advice would you give to your younger self?
I would tell my younger self to be more persistent, push harder, and not settle for what you see. Keep striving for better and believe that you can do all things through Christ Jesus, which strengthens you.

As a successful woman in business, what is your greatest or proudest achievement?
My greatest achievement was starting a family day care in my garage with five children. I am proud to say from the family day care, five full-size centers were birthed. These centers were located in five different cities and served over 300 children from 1990-2004.
