Jon Batiste, Doja Cat, Lil Nas X and Ye lead 2022 Grammy nominations

The nominations for Best R&B album are Snoh Aalegra’s Temporary Highs in Violet Skies, Jon Batiste’s We Are, Leon Bridges’ Gold-Diggers Sound, H.E.R.’s Back of My Mind and Jazmine Sullivan’s Heaux Tales. Justin Bieber, Daniel Caesar, Masego, Eric Bellinger, Cory Henry, Terrance Martin, Hiatus Kiayote, Silk Sonic, PJ Morton and BJ The Chicago Kid were also nominated for various awards.

In addition to his hip-hop nominations, Lil Baby is also in the Gospel category with his “We Win” collaboration with Kirk Franklin on the Space Jam 2: A New Legacy soundtrack. Jekalyn Carr’s Changing Your Story, Tasha Cobb Leonard’s Royalty: Live At Ryman, Maverick City Music’s Jubilee: Juneteenth Edition, Jonathan McReynolds and Mali Music’s Jonny x Mali: Live in LA and Cece Winans’ Believe For It, headline the nominations for Best Gospel Album.


Lavell Crawford’s The Comedy Vaccine and Kevin Hart’s Zero F***s Given were nominated for Best Comedy Album.
