Meek Mill takes issue with Kyle Rittenhouse’s hero status

“It is clear to see that the system is totally designed to destroy Black and Brown people! TV programming can’t hide it anymore…I don’t believe in anything I was taught in history from public school anymore. Now I’m educated! The system is the second stage of slavery and the government fully understands the damage it does to our people not having money and incarcerating most of us,” Mill said in a social media post.

“I was so caught in trying to overcome poverty and the streets. I never noticed how deep the system really is. Pay attention,” the artist posted on Instagram.

Mill also shared an image of Christopher Belter, a white man who escaped prison after pleading guilty to raping four teenage girls this month. The 20-year-old was placed on probation for eight years because Judge Matthew J. Murphy III said a prison sentence for this case “would be inappropriate.”
