Last year on Early Signing Day, Sanders made headlines when he flipped the No. 2 JUCO prospect and cornerback De’Jahn “Nugget” Warren from his commitment at UGA to JSU. Jackson State had the highest-rated signing class in HBCU and FCS history with the Class of 2021.
JSU is currently preparing to play in the Black college football national championship game against South Carolina State in the Celebration Bowl Dec. 18 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
