Many American cities vie for an opportunity to land the Super Bowl every year because of the financial impact the event brings to a city. ABC7 reported this year’s Super Bowl expects to bring in $500 million to the city.

As a part of Black History Month, Google has placed an orange and black heart badge next to any local Black business in the area on Google search and Google maps.

Some of the businesses spotlighted are Hilltop Coffee & Kitchen, vegan restaurant Stuff I Eat and the book and art spot Eso Won. Other businesses featured included Simple Wholesome and Sip & Sonder.

Nipsey Hussle’s Marathon Clothing Store has been temporarily closed, but Tyler, The Creator’s GOLF WANG clothing store is still open on North Fairfax Avenue. Tyler began his “Call Me If You Get Lost” tour this week.

Users can find all nearby Black businesses by searching “Black-owned shops near me” or “Black-owned restaurants near me.”
