The Will Smith Tax follows all the other burdensome taxes that exacerbate the financial-economic conditions of Black Americans. The role of tax in the life of Black America is a true horror film broadcast far too often with little regard for the poverty and incarceration that we over-index every day.

Will Smith is in a tax bracket like other rich white people, which increases the cost of comedy. A comedy ticket does negatively impact their personal economy.

He was getting paid, but not enough to justify being punished by the house entitled light-skinned Black man who has been given everything and permission to write the punishing history on the Black skin.

Black people can’t remove themselves at any point in their lives.
