Pastor John Gray was rushed to the emergency unit of his local hospital and put in the critical care unit, his wife explained on Saturday, July 9, 2022.
Aventer Gray told her Instagram followers that her husband is in need of prayers after her husband suffered what she termed as a “saddle pulmonary embolism in the pulmonary artery and more lung blood clots,” she penned on her page.
“The saddle PE is in a position that could potentially end his life if it shifts at all,” Aventer Gray told her followers, adding that he is in need of two surgeries back-to-back. “The clot burden is severe and only God is holding it in place.”
The doctor explained that others have died with the exact condition that John Gray walked in with.
After receiving an outpouring of support, Aventer Gray responded by saying to one person, “God isn’t done! I don’t care what CT, ECHO, all or any of the tests show! It’s clear God isn’t finished. Clots have to bow to my God! That’s all!”
The wife also expressed gratitude for those who showed up quick.
“Thank you to our @relentlessgreenville @relentlessatlanta and our @lakewoodchurch for those that showed up physically literally already and reached out in.”
