The 17th annual Silver Room Block Party has returned after two years of hiatus. Thousands converged on Oakwood Beach in Chicago to celebrate Summertime Chi as well as each other. Even with the threat of rain looming the two-day festival still sold out, which speaks volumes about what the event means to the community and the city as a whole.
This year’s festival was held on Chicago’s lakefront with more space and a host of vendors and activities for everyone to enjoy. The vibes were amazing and the sun’s absence was barely noticed judgung by the smiles that radiated all around. Take a look at a few pictures in the gallery below.
