On Aug. 10, Jacob Latimore and his mother Latitia Taylor were honored in the city of Milwaukee with a Proclamation during Bronzeville Week. Aug. 10 will officially be known as “Jacob Latimore Day” and “Latitia Taylor Day” in the city of Milwaukee.
Taylor spoke to a group of people after being given the proclamation. “I appreciate the honor, I don’t know what to say,” Taylor said. I’m really speechless.”
Aug. 10 is also Latimore’s birthday. Milwaukee’s mayor tweeted his respects to Latimore.
