For at least one play, LeBron “Bronny” James Jr. resembled his pops as he streaked down the court and threw down an electrifying dunk over an opponent in Europe.

Bronny James is playing for the California Basketball Club which was engaged in an exhibition with the U18 French Select squad in France over the weekend. In a video that is now viral, Bronny got a pass from a teammate, juked an opponent at about halfcourt and then torpedoed to paint to power the ball through the rim.

The dunk sent the capacity crowd into delirium and had the announcers screaming over the airwaves. And, as you can see from the father’s response, it was a proud moment for LeBron James Sr.

ESPN provided a couple of different angles of the same play, replete with raucous reactions from the fans and the bench.

Fellow NBA superstar Donovan Mitchell was also impressed with the feat.

Both of King James’ sons, Bronny and Bryce, accompanied the squad across the Atlantic to get some extra b-ball training in. They’ve also trained hard with their famous father in the backyard of their West Los Angeles home and at the Lakers facility in nearby El Segundo.

Listen to the commentary as 17-year-old Bronny, who is a senior, and 14-year-old Bryce, a freshman, team up for the first time on their Sierra Canyon High School basketball team.
