Vivian Azrya is the founder, CEO, and creative talent behind The Rya Brand which is widely known for its creative marketing campaigns. With the creative director and producer Derek Blanks as her mentor, Azrya embraced the idea of placing her many talents as a photographer, videographer, graphic designer and brand manager under one umbrella.
Azrya shared how her company focuses mostly on creative social media content to brand her clients.
As a brand manager, what are some of the innovative tools you use to stay ahead of the competition?
I like to use Monday as a project management software as well as utilizing our influencers on the roster to stay on top of social media trends that resonate with the brand.
How do you use collaboration as a marketing strategy?
My strategy for collaborative marketing is to partner with like-minded creatives or business owners as a result of spreading brand awareness or reach to gain exposure and add authenticity to the brand.
Share a great case study that involved collaborating with talent or other brands that connected to your brand goals.
For our most recent client, we created a complete rebrand strategy and produced a campaign rollout that created a diverse brand outlook for potential clients. We collaborated with photographers, creative directors, models, glam teams, and graphic designers to bring the brand’s new identity to life. The results were amazing. Turning no sales and no target audiences into a wide range of products that meet the needs of every working class with a growing online presence as well as in-store traffic.
How do technology and innovation help your brand remain relevant in the marketplace?
Technology and innovation not only helps our brand remain relevant but it’s also efficient. Technology runs the world and it changes rapidly. With that being said, we make it our priority to stay on top of the latest software and technologies that make our brand operations easier to use all while ensuring we stay ahead of our competitors.
What are some disruptive ways to launch new brands, products, or services?
Some disruptive marketing strategies that are best for business are going above and beyond the consumer’s expectations, breaking the traditional marketing rules, shaking things up a bit to grab your consumer’s attention, and pouring out your raw and uncut side that resonates with the real world. My favorite disruptive marketing concept is what I like to also call reversed marketing. By utilizing social media reels and Tik Tok, you showcase your brand and/or product and say all the efficient and unique things about your brand all while speaking in a tone that resembles a complaint or frustration. Being that social media feeds off drama and tea-worthy content it makes a great way to be consistent in promoting your brand.
What role does social media play in helping your brands, products, or services?
Being that our brand thrives off creativity, social media plays a major role in providing an outlet that best showcases our campaign visuals and project rollouts, especially in managing influencer marketing.
