While some may be apprehensive to talk about or even admit getting cosmetic surgery, Latto is not one of those people.

The award-winning rapper recently sat down with Cosmopolitan and was very forthcoming about the work she’s had done and how she has maintained her figure since the surgeries.

“I got a BBL [Brazilian butt lift] in 2020. I also got 360 lipo,” she revealed. “That’s on my stomach, back, sides, and whole torso. But then you’ve got to maintain it. So I just hired a trainer.”

The former “The Rap Game” winner went on to disclose that she considered going back under the knife to further sculpt her body, but ultimately decided to get back in the gym to reach her goals.

“I tweeted the other day that I was almost going to get a round two of surgery and then I was like, let me just get a trainer instead,” Latto admits. “If you look on my Instagram, you’ll see I’ve always worked out — before and after the surgery. But I will leave early or not push myself as hard. Having a trainer holds you accountable.”

To her credit, Latto has been consistent in being transparent with her fans when it comes to the work she’s had done and the work she puts in when she hits the gym, making sure to document her journey on social media. A recent TikTok video she posted showcased a super intense workout where Latto shared that one of her goals was to tone up her arms and build more muscle. In another video the “Big Energy” rapper showed exercises she does to “maintain the booty.”

Elsewhere in the article, Latto talks about being the right age to show off her body, and that her mom is supportive of her so she isn’t phased by anyone else’s opinion on the matter.

“I’m young right now,” Latto proclaims. “I don’t have real responsibilities as far as kids and a husband. I feel like it’s the right time to embrace how my body looks — and before I have kids and wrinkle up, I’m showing it off while I can, boo.”

“Everyone always asks what my parents think about the sexy clothes I wear,” she continued. “My mama is here for it. She loves it! She’s like, ‘Girl, do it now!’ She had me at 15 years old and wishes that she could have flaunted her body before kids. And then she turned around and had my sister at 19. She’s my biggest advocate.”
