Even though they are embroiled in marital tumult, Cardi B unabashedly admitted to her fans on New Year’s Day that she got with her estranged husband for a holiday celebratory sex session the previous night.
As rolling out has reported, Cardi B, 31, announced to her 170 million followers that she is letting go of “dead weight” in 2024 and that she is is “excited” for the next chapter in her life and her next relationship.
When you couple this with the fact that she and Offset, 32, unfollowed each other in early December 2023, fans easily surmised that the “dead weight” the “WAP” singer was referencing is the former Migos band member.
However, the volatile couple were not only seen together in New York in the past month, the two rap superstars were partying together at a strip club in Miami during the New Year’s holiday.
Moreover, the two were booked for highly-profitable gigs at the Fontainebleau Hotel in South Beach on New Year’s Eve, though they were on opposite sides of the building.
In one of her customary candid and curse-filled soliloquys on X, Cardi, 31, admitted to her fans that she got back briefly with Offset for one reason.
“Let me make this a little bit clearer to you guys because as y’all making your assumptions, I just wanted to hear it from the horse’s mouth,” she began.
“Was I clubbing with my baby father yesterday? Yes. Did I get d—ed down yesterday? Absolutely baby. Y’all can use your roles on New Year’s Eve; I need some d— on New Year’s Eve. I feel like we was vibing yesterday, we had a good time.”
Channeling her inner Jamie Foxx, Cardi blamed her decision to engage in mattress acrobatics with Offset on the alcohol.
“We was Henny’d down. We was both in the same club and it was just really awkward. Like, I’m in my section, he’s in his section. It’s like, ‘Man, just come over here, let’s just chill, we having a good time.’ ”
Cardi added that she decided to have a one-off to quench her sexual needs with a familiar face, but she hastened to add that one night of fireworks does not equate to reconciliation.
“But I feel at the point of where we at in our relationship, we’ve been together for seven years, we’ve been married for seven years. I don’t consider that we’re back together because the answer of getting back together is not a good night at the club and f—–g the night long,” Cardi continued.
“We need to work on our s—, we need to work on our communication. There’s things that he gotta work on, there’s things that I gotta work on. Until we work that out, I don’t feel like we’re back together.”
