Tiffany Haddish has avoided jail for driving under the influence.

The Girls Trip star was arrested in Beverly Hills, California after she was found asleep in her awkwardly parked car over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. On Feb. 1 she made a plea deal with prosecutors that saw the two misdemeanor charges against her dropped.

Instead, the comic pleaded no contest to reckless driving, TMZ reports.

“Ms. Haddish has agreed to a simple vehicle code violation — not driving under the influence, which has been dismissed — and looks forward to this being behind her,” her attorney, Alex Spiro, told the outlet.

However, Haddish still has a separate DUI case ongoing in Georgia, dating back to January 2022, which she is expected to fight in court.

Following her Thanksgiving arrest, the Afterparty actor vowed to “get help” and insisted the incident would “never happen again.”

“I’m going to get some help so I can learn balance and boundaries,” she told “Entertainment Tonight.”

Haddish — who previously claimed that her Tesla parked itself after she dozed off behind the wheel — also joked she hadn’t been upset about her arrest because the jail she was taken to was “nice”.

“You ain’t lived until you got arrested in Beverly Hills, OK. It’s beautiful over there. I’ve been in quite a few jails, just like the rest of y’all. If you gonna do something, get arrested over there because that jail is nice,” she told TMZ.

When she was arrested, police revealed they had found a driver “asleep behind the wheel” when they responded to a call of a vehicle on the roadway in the early morning.

The sources said the comedian’s car was “stopped in lanes of traffic” and not pulled over to the side, meaning any vehicles that were driving in the area at that time would have had to go around her car. It is unclear who placed the call to the police.

  1. It’s a shame what has happen to Tiffany. She’s a great funny actress. It seems she didn’t take breaking up with Common well. I don’t know if the love ❤️ she had for him was mutual. Since their breakup, she hasn’t been right. I’m gonna say this, “Tiffany, get your ish together. You could have a great Career ahead of you”. Don’t ruin your live over love ❤️. You are better than this. I’m looking forward to seeing you on the big screen again soon, I hope!

  2. I just pray that is not for love, come to far girl stop it, if you need counseling do that, Kevin Hart had to cancel that three day tour he was having because, she was one of his comedians, Kevin Hart is very disappointed in her because he’s really really been helping her with her career she’s gonna make people not wanna work with her. I believe in you Tiffany. I just advised her that once all this court stuff is done take some time out reevaluate yourself, and then get back up and do what you gotta do
