Usher kept his wedding plans secret from his Super Bowl halftime show collaborators.

The 45-year-old pop star tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Jennifer Goicoechea on Super Bowl Sunday while they were in Las Vegas for his performance at the big game and Lil Jon — who shared the stage with him — has admitted the the singer kept his plans totally under wraps.

“He did not tell us anything. But I did see it [the wedding news] in the press, of course. But no, I was gonna give him a break and I was gonna call him and just you know congratulate him, like he worked hard for this,” Lil Jon told Etonline.com.

Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am — who also performed with Usher during the game — also had no idea about the wedding.

“Oh man, I didn’t even know that! Congratulations, bro. I never knew that. That’s awesome, I’m really proud of him,” he told the outlet.

“We can confirm that Usher and Jennifer Goicoechea took the next step in their relationship and did get married on Sunday night in Las Vegas surrounded by close friends and family. They both look forward to continuing to raise their children together surrounded by love and thank everyone for the well wishes,” a spokesperson for Usher told People, confirming the wedding took place on Sunday.

The ceremony took place at an outdoor chapel called Vegas Weddings’ Terrace Gazebo, which seats 30 guests and Usher’s mother Jonetta Patton acted as the couple’s witness.

After the Super Bowl, the couple was pictured wearing matching all-white outfits and Usher was wearing a gold band on his left ring finger.

Usher has been dating music executive Goicoechea since October 2018 and they are parents to daughter Sovereign, who was born in 2020, and a son, who arrived in 2021.

He was previously married to Tameka Foster — the mother of his sons Usher “Cinco” Raymond V, 16, and Navid Ely, 15 — from 2007 until 2009.

“Listen, when you find someone that you know is a great partner, of course it is an honor and a pleasure to be able to share life with someone who wants to share it with you and loves you, who you are,” Usher told People prior to his Super Bowl performance.

“We’ve obviously made a commitment to life for life together because of our children. It wouldn’t be odd for us to get married. We already did here. You know what I’m saying? And we’re going to be in each other’s lives until we die, obviously, because we have something to share. That’s beautiful. Our children. But not because of that. I really do feel like I have an amazing partner that I respect,” he added.
