Georgina Campbell (“Cake,” “One of Us”) stars alongside Dakota Fanning in a heart-racing thriller, The Watchers, which marks the beginning of the Night Shyamalan 2.0 era under the helm of Ishana Night Shyamalan.
With her famous father, M. Night Shyamalan along as a producer, the younger Night Shyamalan also wrote the adaptation of the A. M. Shine novel that centers on Mina (Fanning) getting lost in an Irish forest before encountering Barbarian (Campbell) and a host of others as they battle against supernatural forces both seen and unseen.
Between dealing with night-stalking creatures and learning they are being watched by an invisible force, it’s clear that the classic Night Shyamalan brand of despair, dread and death will be carried into the next generation.
The film also stars Olwen Fouéré (Texas Chainsaw Massacre) Allstair Brammer (Les Misérables), and Zarima McDermott (Radio Room).
The Watchers is set to hit theaters on June 7.
