Reesa Teesa, the originator of the TikTok video phenomenon “Who TF Did I Marry,” has secured a Hollywood agent after the 50-part series chronicling her marriage woes racked up a gargantuan 400 million views — and counting.

Meanwhile, her ex-husband, whom she called “Legion” in the series, has fired back at his former wife. He claims that Tareasa “Reesa Teesa” Johnson flagrantly embellished and told blatant lies during the series. He added she lacks the talent and work ethic to make it in Hollywood.

Reesa Teesa’s meteoric rise explained

Teesa skyrocketed to national fame overnight after she created four dozen videos detailing the intricate web of lies and machinations that her ex-husband, Jerome McCoy, allegedly employed to seduce and then marry Teesa. Forbes Magazine reports that Teesa has accumulated 1.8 million followers and 17 million likes across her social media platforms.

Teesa’s videos were so addicting that her fanbase grew by mammoth proportions in just three weeks. This exposé on her “pathological liar” husband resulted in exclusive interviews with ABC’s “Good Morning America” and the “Tamron Hall” show in rapid succession.

Forbes reports that Teesa has since signed with Creative Arts Agency, whose clientele includes Oscar-nominated actor Samuel L. Jackson and NBA star Devin Booker.

Reesa Teesa’s ex-husband Jerome “Legion” McCoy fights back on a podcast

McCoy, nicknamed “Legion” in the TikTok saga, recently appeared on the “Simply Wavy” podcast, where he slammed many of Reesa Teesa’s claims.

McCoy said he told the Kennesaw State University graduate that he did not purchase her dream car, a dark-blue BMW X5 with a cognac interior, because he was trying to teach Reesa Teesa “how to work” for the vehicle.

“I’m not just going to give you an $80,000 car ’cause I’m your husband, and you deserve it,” McCoy said on the podcast. “I understand that part, but you gotta learn the value of a buck. We can’t just go out here all the time. You gotta understand the value of something, and you don’t wanna work for it. So help me, help you.”

Reesa Teesa also told her vast audience in the series that McCoy never closed on the house he promised to get her because he did not possess the $700K in cash he claimed he had.

McCoy counters that by saying she was home shopping outside the price range, he said he previously discussed with her.

“Because honestly, I told her before the budget for finding a house, we don’t need to be over $340k. She started looking at houses that high,” McCoy said.

As for her chances of making it big in Hollywood, McCoy barked that it is “horse crap that she might have a career” because she became a TikTok sensation based on layers of alleged lies.
