Rick Ross is firing back at the luxury watch critic who says his prized Audemars Piguet watch reportedly worth more than $3 million is a fake.
Dutch YouTube personality and high end watch expert Nico Leonard van der Horst offered his thoughts on Rozay’s timepiece in a recent Instagram video and he didn’t mince words.
“Rick Ross, bro, I just made a video about your insane green AP. Unfortunately, it’s fake,” van der Horst quipped. “Why are you flaunting fake watches? There’s only one of these watches in the world at 41 mil and there’s another one at 37.
“There’s more coming in the future but because of the complexity and the difficulty to find these stones, there’s currently only one in the world,” he continued. “Can you explain this, Rick Ross?”
“I thought you had to be an example for the youth etc. Mate, load of balls, get your act together. This is pathetic,” he added.
The Maybach Music Group boss responded in an Instagram stories post on Monday, March 11 and seemed to be most irritated with van der Horst.
“For the little fat guy in the one-cubicle office speaking on watches, speaking on Rick Ross and his Audemars, it’s unbelievable isn’t it, fat guy? Little piglet,” the “Aston Martin Music” rapper said.
“Oh, those emeralds are so rare,” Ross mocked. “It would be so hard for a Black man to obtain such a rare timepiece. It’s a simple feat for a boss. Now, stay out of grown folks’ business, little piglet. You on Rozay d—.”
The timepiece was first showcased in a YouTube video by Robb Report as a part of Rick Ross’ watch collection in January 2024 and was said to be an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Selfwinding Emerald worth $3.25 million.
