Martin Lawrence and Will Smith have reprised their roles as dynamic duo Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowery in the upcoming action comedy Bad Boys: Ride or Die.
This fourth franchise installment finds Burnett and Lowery smack dab in the middle of an intricate high-level cover-up and framing of their beloved Captain Howard (Joe Pantoliano). They find themselves the only ones able to clear it up. To do this, they’ll have to take on both a violent drug cartel and high-ranking bad actors within their own law enforcement ranks.
The chemistry between Lawrence and Smith is easily evident in the trailer, as the pair finds themselves in familiar positions, such as hilarious convenience store showdowns and argument-filled high-speed chases that have become the signature of the franchise.
Directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah once again take the directorial reins. The film also stars Alexander Ludwig, Joyner Lucas, Melanie Liburd, Paola Núnez, and Tasha Smith, who replaces Theresa Randle as Marcus Burnett’s wife.
Bad Boys: Ride or Die lands in theaters on June 7.
