In the latest chapter of the Chris Brown–Quavo beef, Saweetie has chimed in.
Quavo responded to Chris Brown’s diss track “Weakest Link” where Brown said he slept with Quavo’s ex-girlfriend, Saweetie, while they were still together.
“I can take a model b—- and make a Saweetie,” he rapped in his response track.
Saweetie turned to X, the social platform formerly known as Twitter, to respond to Quavo’s boasting claim.
“Hopefully, the model he turns into me replies,” Saweetie posted.
The screenshot shows Quavo messaging her on Instagram in January, nearly three years after she announced the couple broke up in March 2021.
“D—,” Quavo’s message in the screenshot read. “We used to mean af to eac…”
The message was unread at the time of her Jan. 14 screenshot at 2:44 am.

Some fans pointed out how the message came around the same day Brown made headlines for sitting next to Saweetie at the USC-UCLA women’s basketball game. The game occurred on Jan. 14, but Saweetie’s screenshot of Jan. 14 shows Quavo sent the message nearly a full day before the game.

Right before Brown released “Weakest Link,” where he said he slept with Saweetie, she posted “WHEW ! CHILE” on X. After Brown released the song, she said she was going to re-write the verses on “Nani,” a single she has teased for a while. As she directly called out Quavo for his claim, she didn’t publicly deny anything Brown said.
Quavo said the beef between him and Brown started because Quavo once dated Brown’s longtime ex-girlfriend and model, Karrueche Tran.
Tran has not acknowledged any of the tracks on social media.
