Kanye West seems to have rethought previous plans to start a pornography division of his ever-growing Yeezy brand.

As previously reported by TMZ last month, the “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” rapper had begun teasing “a broader adult entertainment division” of his Yeezy imprint that would include a porn studio. The outlet also claimed that West had reached out to Mike Moz, the ex-husband of adult film star Stormy Daniels, to help get the venture off the ground as early as this coming summer.

However, as of May 7, all related content to the proposed wing has been scrubbed off West’s social media accounts.

Some are questioning if the positioning of West’s chief of staff, far-right wing advocate and commentator Milo Yiannopoulos, played a part in the folding of the idea as he recently made comments reaffirming his opposition to adult content.

“I cannot be complicit in the production or dissemination of pornographic films and literature, for moral and religious reasons,” Yiannopoulos wrote. “But also because such material and the kind of people invariably involved in its production represent an imminent danger to my life as a recovering addict and an unacceptable risk to my spiritual and physical health as a former homosexual.”

West’s announcement of his intended plans did not go over well with fans. Many commented and encouraged him to reconsider the venture, with one even advising the G.O.O.D Music founder to “return to Christ.”

In the past, the artist and designer has been very vocal about his struggles with porn addiction even telling media personality Zane Lowe in 2019 about the origins of his issues.

“For me, Playboy was my gateway into full-on pornography addiction,” he said. “My dad had a Playboy left out at age five, and it’s affected almost every choice I made for the rest of my life.

“From age five ’til now, having to kick the habit and it just presents itself in the open like it’s okay, and I stand up and say, ‘No, it’s not okay,’” Yeezy relates before thanking a higher power for helping overcome his addiction.

“With God I’ve been able to beat things that had a full control of me,” he declared.

In recent years West has been accused of constantly showing porn to employees of his company including sex tapes of himself and ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

West is currently at work on the oft-delayed Vultures 2album with Ty Dolla $ign that was originally scheduled for release on May 3.
