Paula Patton returning to television in Fox’s ‘Murder In A Small Town’

Patton will play Dr. Elizabeth Lewis in the television adaptation of the popular book series by author by L.R. Wright.

Paula Patton is returning the the small screen this fall when she takes on the role of Dr. Elizabeth Lewis in a new procedural series for Fox called “Murder In A Small Town.”


Based on the nine-book series by Canadian author L.R. Wright, the show will star Rossif Sutherland as Karl Alberg, a worn out detective who moves to a small town to escape the perils of big city police work. His dreams of a peaceful life in his new city are shattered when he’s called upon to help solve a number of mysterious murders that keep washing up on the town’s shore.


Patton’s character, Dr. Lewis, is a world-class psychiatrist who arrives at the local police station to offer her services in helping to catch the killer whom she believes to be a former client of hers.

Leading the series with Sutherland will be Kristin Kreuk along with a slew of notable guest stars throughout the season in addition to Patton such as Aaron Douglas, Fritzy-Klevans Destine, James Cromwell, Mya Lowe, Savonna Spracklin, Stana Katic, and Crystal Balint – who will guest star in three episodes as Dr. Olive Duval.


“Murder In A Small Town” will premiere later this fall on the Fox network.
